The Briggs Files - Tecmo 3: T Power Sweep

One of the best running plays in Tecmo 3 is the T Power Sweep. In the power sweep both guards pull, and along with the fullback they provide blocking for the ball carrier. Whether the following list is meaningful at all is hard to say. But here are the combined hitting powers for the two guards of every team.

Minnesota is the clear leader.

Conclusions:

Wow, Minnesota and Oakland are the leaders in this Briggs File. This may help explain why Bruce won the AFC and the NFC with these two teams in our first ever Tecmo III season. That season was the first season that the "T Power Sweep" was used on a regular basis by any team. It took a while for the league to learn how to defense it. Again, the Jets suck. This time, they tied for worst with Carolina.
